Hi y’all!!  Happy rainy Thursday!  It is finally getting warm enough to start doing sessions outside again, which it SO much fun!  I have had a few outside sessions in the past couple months but not a ton.  And some I can’t show because they are bridals!  Eeek!  Heather & Ryan didn’t have 70 degree temperatures for their session but it definitely could have been worse.  We were happy to have sunshine and 50 degrees. 

Heather & Ryan are getting married this fall at a venue I LOVE and it happens to be right up the road from my house – The Barns of Kanak.  Go check them out because it is a beautiful venue with an amazing team!  Heather & I met to discuss all things wedding and engagements a few months ago.  We clicked right away!  We bonded over our similar love stories as well as our dislike for some of the same thing (inside jokes…sorry haha!).  Also, Heather & her mom own the cutest shop in town called Absolutely Southern Designs.  I shop in their often and love all the things they sell & monogram!  Now I just have more of a reason to go in there!  

Heather & Ryan have known each other since middle school but didn’t start dating until they were adults.  They both said that it didn’t take long until they knew they were in love and that this was going to last.  However, Ryan did take his time popping the question.  Heather said he liked to trick her and would pretend like he was about to propose but really tie his shoe or act like he dropped something.  He would start saying super sweet things, acting like he was leading up to something and then – nothing.  So, when Ryan finally proposed to Heather, she didn’t think it was real.  She literally thought it was a joke!!  And then freaked out with joy because it was REAL!

I can’t say enough great things about these two!  I loved seeing them together and finding out who they are as a couple.  You can tell right away how they balance each other out and bring out different sides in one another.  They are meant to be together and we are all so glad that they figured that out!!!
