Hi there! I'm Caiti and I am a wedding & portrait photographer living in Prince George, Virginia. I am a music loving, doughtnut eating, coffee drinking, mama of 2. This is the place where you can come to see my latest work with my beautiful clients and learn more about me, my husband, and our sweet babies. Take a look around and enjoy!
You all are in for a treat with this session! I love newborns – no secret there! I love getting to snuggle these little angels. There is something about a home session that makes it even more cozy. Babies love it, too! There is less movement and they are definitely “messed with” less. Plus, there are more cuddles with home sessions (at least, that is my experience). Elizabeth’s session was no different!
Virginia weather has really gone all out this winter. She is not holding back very much! We have had some of the coldest days I can remember, which sounds silly to some people, but not for those of us who have lived here our entire lives. We aren’t use to the air feeling like it is cutting through your skin without the wind even blowing! Plus, it has already snowed multiple time before the middle of January?! I do love the snow though, so I’ll take it.
We had quite a few firsts for us in our business this year and one of those was our first Christmas wedding!! We love Christmas and definitely think it is the perfect time of year to celebrate love and marriage! It is basically straight out of a Hallmark movie and we all know that I am all about that life.
Christmas Eve is tomorrow, people!! That came quick, fast, and in a hurry! I really wanted to get this session up on the blog before Christmas though because I just love it and it is the perfect wintery, maternity session!
The title of this post may be deceiving because the new home is still under construction but that wasn’t going to stop the Flagg Family! Dan & Jamie have been building their new home for months now and are definitely excited for it to be done early this spring. However, they wanted their family Christmas […]
This year has been a year full of people I know adding new additions to their family! A lot of those are babies (which helps with my baby fever because I can snuggle them then give them right back) but the rest have been PUPPIES! Who doesn’t love puppies?!? If you raised your hand to that question, then we need to evaluate your reasoning because I find this very hard to believe. Puppies instantly make you smile and the puppy that the Ream’s Family added to their clan does just that!
Isn’t it strange how so many of us love fall so much and can’t wait for it to arrive, yet it just goes by SO FAST!? Don’t get me wrong, Christmas is my favorite time of year so I am glad that is here but fall went too quickly. I love the changing leaves, but, before we knew it, they had all fallen. We were lucky to get these last mini sessions during one of the last beautiful fall weekends of the season.
Yesterday I posted part ONE of my Fall Mini Sessions so if you missed that, go check it out! Today – Part Two! These families are all amazing and deserve to be showed off on a blog post so I wanted to put up some images from each one of the sessions. I love mini session days allow me to see families I haven’t seen in almost a year and meet new clients who hopeful come back again & again!
Mini sessions this year were definitely some of the best ones ever! Each year gets better and better! I truly love these sessions. My favorite part of doing mini sessions is that every single one is different. Each family is full of different personalities which makes their session individual to them. I may be doing most of these photos are the same locations, but no one session looks the same. That is what makes them so special!
My goodness…I am so excited to show this couple off to all of you! I have been anticipating this engagement session for awhile! We started the afternoon on the most beautiful street in Richmond, especially in the fall, Monument Avenue! It looks like it is straight out of a movie! Gorgeous houses, leaves everywhere, and the huge median is lined with orange and yellow trees right now. After that, we made our way over to the Virginia State Capital.
