I remember the day I met Carley and her mom for coffee.  Instantly, I felt so at ease with them.  They were super easy to talk to and had me laughing right away!  My husband grew up with Carley’s family, going to the same private school.  However, I had never met her or her family before.  I quickly came to see that they are wonderful people!  We just talked and talked about anything & everything!  After that initial meeting and hearing about all what Carley had planned, I was so excited for the wedding day to come!

We could not have asked for a more beautiful day!  There were blue skies, cool breezes, and no chance of rain!  The venue was absolutely stunning!  Also, we were AHEAD of schedule!  How often does THAT happen?!  We always allow for more time than necessary for everything when we create our wedding day timelines because we know that hair can take longer, groomsmen can be late, or something random could happen.  This wedding party consisted of 22 people so we fully anticipated needing to add a little more time in for things.  We were wrong!  This group was on top of their game!  Not only that, but they were just laughing and having a good time the entire day.  We just loved it!

All day long, friends and family were talking about how excited they were for this day!  Nic and Carley have been together for about 4 years.  They have been together through long distance, college, graduation, Nic starting his own business, and more.  They were just SO ready for today!  At one point, the reality of the day finally hit Carley.  Pure joy and real emotion came over her and every girl in the room was tearing up!  Then, seeing Nic overcome with happiness the moment Carley started walking toward him…we all knew how special this day was!  Anthony and I are just so grateful for having been a part of it and getting to know these amazing families!

Glenward Gates is SUCH a gorgeous venue!  Definitely go see it if you are getting married in this area!
