Hi there! I'm Caiti and I am a wedding & portrait photographer living in Prince George, Virginia. I am a music loving, doughtnut eating, coffee drinking, mama of 2. This is the place where you can come to see my latest work with my beautiful clients and learn more about me, my husband, and our sweet babies. Take a look around and enjoy!
I have such a fun engagement session to share with y’all today!!! I basically left wanting to be their best friends because they are such a good time! Jessica & Cameron invited me out to Jessica’s family’s home on Lake Gaston to take their pictures. That is their happy place. They love it there and spend so much of their time there. Plus, once you see it, you will understand. AMAZING!
Jess and Cameron met basically on a blind date. They had mutual friends that really wanted them to meet. Their friends told them that a bunch of people were getting together so it wouldn’t be weird or anything…but that was a set up. A GREAT set up! Jessica said she almost didn’t come that night but, after a little convincing, she ended up going. She is SO thankful she did because it was pretty much love at first sight for these two.
I asked them both when they knew that this was it, that they were each others person. Their answers were instant and exactly the same…the night they met! They both felt such a strong connection to the other one and they have been together ever since. We ALL know what a sap I am and they almost had me crying listening to them talk about each other. I mean…they are no joke the cutest ever!! The best part about them is how much fun they have together. Cameron and Jessica don’t take themselves too seriously and love to laugh! You can see how much joy they feel around each other.
For their session, we
walked Cameron drove us in the golf cart to different spots along their little slice of heaven. I got to be up to my shorts in the water to get shots of this beautiful couple and I loved it! Good thing Anthony wasn’t their because he would have freaked out seeing me walk on slippery rocks while holding my camera (I made it though!). We had such a great time and they are so easy to photography. Jess fits perfectly in Cameron’s arms and he had no objections to getting to hold on to his woman for awhile.
We ended the night in their boat – can all sessions end this way? SUCH a hard night at work (sarcasm). These shots are my faaaaaave! The two of them cuddled up, looking out at the water with drinks their hands. Perfect!! And then – to really top it off – they celebrated by jumping in the lake!! Their sign said “Taking The Plunge” – hilarious! And they jumped right off the dock!!
The only thing I am sad about is that we have to wait 10 months for their wedding day. I am going to be so excited to see these two become husband and wife. I can guarantee that lots of happy tears will be shed. I’m just going to stand there with Jessica’s parents (who are the bomb!!) and be crying! Send the tissues!!
Until then, scroll through Cameron & Jessica’s engagement session that I am officially obsessed with and let me know what you think!!
Be still my heart with these puppies…..
We all know I was using full on “dog mom voice” and obsessing over these love bugs! Give me all the labs!!!!
Thanks for stopping by!
