Hi there! I'm Caiti and I am a portrait photographer living in Disputanta, Virginia. I am a music loving, doughtnut eating, coffee drinking, mama of 2. This is the place where you can come to see my latest work with my beautiful clients and learn more about me, my husband, and our sweet babies. Take a look around and enjoy!
Hurricane Hermine was threatening to ruin the beautiful weather for this wedding day! While driving to the salon early that morning, we all saw black clouds in the sky and could feel the cool air blowing. Honestly, the cooler weather was definitely welcomed over the crazy heat Virginia had been experiencing just the week before. The moment I saw Erin, though, she was completely calm. There is nothing you can do about it at that point, so why worry, right? Right! David & Erin were both so positive and upbeat all day! Their wedding party was the exact same way, which is so helpful on the wedding day. When there is something happening that could POSSIBLY cause any worry or anxiety, your job as a bridesmaid or groomsmen is to ease the minds of the bride & groom (just a little bit of advice from yours truly). After random rain showers and gusts of wind, the sun ended up coming out and giving us the chance to get so many great pictures!
David & Erin have been together for YEARS! When I say years, I mean since HIGH SCHOOL! Eight years to be exact! That blows my mind. These two were SO ready to get married. Their families were ready, too! During the toasts, Erin’s brother said that he was just happy he could finally call David his brother-in-law because it had been a long time coming. Their families were just so genuinely excited for them. Everyone was! Everyone at the wedding had seen David and Erin fall in the love and grow up together. They know just how special their relationship is and so many were brought to tears this day because of that.
Anthony and I absolutely loved being a part of this wedding! Have you ever met people and thought “Why aren’t we friends?” Well, that is exactly what we said after meeting everyone! David and Erin are so fun to be around! They are both super easy to talk to and had us laughing the entire time. During their portraits, David stopped me so he could say how happy they were to have us there and how easy we made it for them to take these pictures! That is a HUGE compliment for us! That is definitely what I strive to do because the best images come from couples who are enjoying themselves! As the night went on, the dance floor was never empty. This group of people know how to have a good time! All of Erin and David’s family and friends danced the night away and had such a great time! We loved dancing right along with them!!
Enough talking (or typing)! Go ahead and take a look at this wonderful day!
Doves weren’t the only animals at this wedding!
The skies cleared, wind stopped, and sun came out just in time for some more portraits during the reception!
David & Erin – y’all are the cutest!!
This beautiful cake was made my Erin’s great aunt!
These moments get me every single time!
The parents!!! Both sets of parents were so sweet and LOTS of fun!
