Hi there! I'm Caiti and I am a wedding & portrait photographer living in Prince George, Virginia. I am a music loving, doughtnut eating, coffee drinking, mama of 2. This is the place where you can come to see my latest work with my beautiful clients and learn more about me, my husband, and our sweet babies. Take a look around and enjoy!
Today’s wedding pulls at my heart strings for all kinds of reasons! We have really been counting down until Megan & Jason’s wedding and it was so exciting for it to finally get here!! I had done their engagement photos exactly one year from their wedding date so it felt like forever since I had seen them. Jason & Megan got married at the beautiful Alturia Farm! This place is seriously a dream!! The fields, barns, horses, flowers, everything! But, as beautiful as this venue is, no one could take their eyes of the happy couple!!
I could quickly tell how in love these two were at their engagement session. They joke about how they met on Tinder but we are all seriously grateful they did. On their wedding day, they chose to do a first look so they could have more time together. They were both giddy to see each other, smiling ear to ear! When Jason turned and saw his bride….she was drop dead gorgeous! His eyes lit up! He had her spin so he could see all of her and just said “wow!!”!! We were all melting from the intense heat but they didn’t once complain about having their arms wrapped around each other. They would have preferred that, whether we told them to do that or not.
Jason and Megan had a very sweet addition to their ceremony…actually two additions. They had their dogs in their wedding party!! I could not have supported this idea more!! When Megan told me this was happening, I was ALL FOR IT! They did so good too! Diesel & Lola walked down the aisle and laid at the front, waiting for mom & dad to get married. It was the sweetest!!
Not sweeter than the moment Jason saw Megan walking down that aisle to marry him, though. Yes, they had already seen each other. Yes, he had just been with her for 1.5 hours. It doesn’t matter because that moment you realize you are about to marry the love of your life is special & different than anything else! It was the best! After that, Megan & Jason read vows they had written to one another and left us all in a mess of happy tears! Hearing them read their vows and then seeing their pups lay on the ground behind them – the best!!!
If you know anything about Alturia Farm, you know it is a horse farm. I think that is what sold Megan on this venue! The horses are all so friendly and lovey! They let us love on them all day. Jack was giving lots of extra hugs and kisses that day so we took full advantage of it! I even had to lint roll my dress at one point because I was covered in horse hair. I didn’t mind one bit!
This entire day was perfect. PERFECT! Megan and Jason are such a genuinely joyful couple and love to laugh & have a good time! They laughed all day long, together and with their people! They wanted this day to be fun and it was nothing short of that! Their smiles when they are together are like nothing else! We are so happy for them!
Megan & Jason – y’all know we love y’all! We are so excited for you two and this life you have started together! Thank you both for choosing us to capture this entire day for y’all! We loved every single second of it. Give your pups extra hugs from us!!
We had a BOMB vendor team this day and I can’t say enough amazing things about them! I want to just bottle them up and take them everywhere with me!!
