Hi there! I'm Caiti and I am a portrait photographer living in Disputanta, Virginia. I am a music loving, doughtnut eating, coffee drinking, mama of 2. This is the place where you can come to see my latest work with my beautiful clients and learn more about me, my husband, and our sweet babies. Take a look around and enjoy!
We finished up our 2018 wedding season on Saturday and it was the perfect wedding to end the year on. Stephanie & Cory had a beautiful and classy Christmas wedding! All day long, Stephanie would stop and say how much fun she was having or how excited she was. The dark skies and rain made it gloomy outside but you would have never known because she was a bright light all day!
It wasn’t just Steph having fun though, it was everyone!! Cory and Stephanie put so much thought into their day. They had the people they love the most, that have been by their sides throughout life, standing with them that day. Not just standing, but dancing, laughing, and cheering them on ALL day. They planned a wedding that wasn’t just fun for them, but enjoyable for all of their people! They wanted their family & friends to have a great time too, and that DEFINITELY happened!
When you hear “Christmas wedding”, you can easy think about how it can get out of hand pretty quick, probably. This was NOT that at all. Stephanie & Cory had such a beautiful and classy day. They incorporated all the Christmas elements in an elegant way!! The gorgeous green dresses and pops of red on everyone were perfect. The church was breathtaking by itself, but the poinsettias gave it that Christmas touch. Then, the reception decor was amazing!!! They even had gingerbread houses and Christmas cookies! The entire ballroom smelled like Christmas Cookies and it was incredible.
What is a Christmas wedding without Santa Claus popping in? That’s right, Santa! AND Mrs. Claus!! The children’s faces lit up! Who are we kidding? The adults faces lit up, too!
The entire day was perfect but the best part of it all – Stephanie and Cory being husband and wife (of course)! These two are both such sweet, loving, caring, fun, and genuine individuals on their own. Ask any of their friends. But together…somehow they get even better. Stephnie’s sister said that opposites do attract but not for these two because so much of them is the same. Somehow, they each found a sweet soul just like their own. And, luckily, they each held on and fell in love!
I asked Cory what he thought when those giant church doors opened and, without giving it even a second of thought, he said, “That I am the luckiest man in the world!” Heart melted!! We loved being a part of this day and seeing these two promise forever to one another! I hope you love looking through these photos! Start scrolling!
