Hi there! I'm Caiti and I am a portrait photographer living in Disputanta, Virginia. I am a music loving, doughtnut eating, coffee drinking, mama of 2. This is the place where you can come to see my latest work with my beautiful clients and learn more about me, my husband, and our sweet babies. Take a look around and enjoy!
Happy Friday! It has been a minute since I did a blog post – sorry about that! I literally have so many sessions and so much preciousness to share with y’all though. I had to prioritize the most important things while I was in the thick of the busiest times so, family things came first and then session & editing took over the rest of the time. Blogging had to take a step back the past couple weeks. I have SUCH incredible clients and I got to take so so so many great pictures for amazing people over the past couple months and I can’t wait for y’all to see more soon.
Today’s session screams CHRISTMAS!! When Stacy first contacted me and told me her vision, I was sold. The old truck, the real tree, all the props = perfection. What’s really funny is that Bradley had to pull this truck on a trailer all the way to my house. He rolls up, driving his big truck, with this truck behind him. It was a sight!
Stacy & Bradley had another reason for wanting to do these pictures, other than the obvious. They are PREGNANT!!! This session was also for announcement photos. We were celebrating Sawyer being 6 months old as well as becoming a big sister. They had the cutest ideas that you definitely want to see!! I don’t want to tell you everything so you will have to scroll down to see. (They have announced already so don’t think I am spilling it all).
The only thing that would have made this session any better would have been if all of this snow we have recently got had happened earlier. I feel like I should just edit some snow into these pictures because snow falling on them would have been a dream!!
We were having so much fun with these pictures and literally used up every bit of sunlight left in the sky. At the end of the session, the sun was completely gone and the moon was already shining bright behind Sawyer, Stacy, & Bradley. See if you can find it in the photos at the end of this post! It was crazy!!
Enough chatting – let’s get to what you came here for! Scroll down and see this Christmasy session that I love so much!
Sawyer & that tongue!
Such a cute idea!!!
Thanks for stopping by!!
