Hi there! I'm Caiti and I am a portrait photographer living in Disputanta, Virginia. I am a music loving, doughtnut eating, coffee drinking, mama of 2. This is the place where you can come to see my latest work with my beautiful clients and learn more about me, my husband, and our sweet babies. Take a look around and enjoy!
It has been a minute since I’ve done a blog post. I always have such great intentions of blogging multiple times a week and then…life…so I don’t. But I do try to get my beautiful clients up here as often & quickly as I can! Today, I have such a beautiful maternity session for y’all!! Lyndsie & David are expecting a baby boy in about 6 weeks (or less) and I am so excited for them! They are about to experience the most beautiful, life altering, terrifyingly wonderful time of their lives. Am I right or what?
The Markins family has been in my life for years and years and years. Not to make myself sound old or anything but I have known David’s parents since before he was even thought of. I was a child, of course, but still. I met Lyndsie when she was in high school which happens to be when these two started dating!! I love a good high school romance…that actually lasts. It is so rare and so special for people to be able to grow together and stay in love!
The best thing about these two is how much they make each other laugh. They definitely have fun together and I firmly believe that is such a vital part of marriage. They were laughing together throughout the entire session. David could just look at Lyndsie and make her bust out laughing! I loved it!!
We were very concerned the day of this session because the forecast was calling for storms but it wasn’t certain as to when they would start. When it comes to maternity pictures, I try not to postpone them unless absolutely necessary because rescheduling them means they would need to be done asap. You know..because that baby is coming whenever he wants! We decided to go for it! The skies would get really dark then, you could see the sun trying to come out (though it never succeeded) but we finished just in time to beat the rain!
David & Lyndsie are close with Anthony’s cousins so we actually used their property for this session. It was perfect!! The rocks on the creek – amazing!! And then, that open field with the bright green grass at the very end was my favorite! Y’all should know by now how I feel about a good field photo.
So scroll down and check out this sweet couple!!
