Hi there! I'm Caiti and I am a portrait photographer living in Disputanta, Virginia. I am a music loving, doughtnut eating, coffee drinking, mama of 2. This is the place where you can come to see my latest work with my beautiful clients and learn more about me, my husband, and our sweet babies. Take a look around and enjoy!
Taking senior portraits is such a special experience for me. I don’t feel like it was that long ago that I was a senior (yeah, yeah…10 years..whatever) and I remember it all too well. Being a senior, I didn’t think it was that big of a deal. I didn’t think that I was about to make this big change or take a huge leap or anything like that. But when I take senior portraits, I just feel so excited for them!! It IS a big deal! Seniors are about to make SUCH a big change! Being a mom, I get emotional about it too! This girl I am about to introduce to you definitely made me feel emotional. So, let me introduce you to Haley.
Haley is one of the toughest, sweetest, determined teenagers I know. I knew her back when she was just a baby and her mom was one of my cheering coaches. Then, everything came full circle when I became one of Haley’s high school cheerleading coaches. I immediately just loved her! She was always laughing and motivating the girls around her. When we gave her something new to learn, she worked nonstop until she got it. I am so proud of her and all that she has accomplished! Haley has changed so much from freshman year until now but, yet, she is still that fun girl that first walked on to the mats at that first practice she had with me.
During the session, I looked back at Haley’s mom and said “I can’t believe we are doing this!” It is so true! I can’t imagine the level of emotion her parents are feeling this year because this is their baby girl. The three of them are very close (as they should be because Melissa & Chris are awesome parents!) so this has got to just be crazy! Time really goes by too fast! But I know they feel nothing but pride and are so excited for all that Haley is going to accomplish in college.
Haley – thank you for being so fun and such a breathe of fresh air! Thank you for letting me take your senior pictures because I loved every second of it!
