Where do I even start?  I was so excited to meet this little boy!  He has such awesome parents (and big sister) so he is already one seriously lucky dude.  Then, on top of that, his name is awesome.  If you know my husband, this is his dream name.  He probably regrets not naming our son this.  Today’s baby boy is named Duke Anthony.  Now, he is named after family which is so sweet.  However, Anthony & I are saying he is named after the best college basketball team & my husbands…how cool! Kidding! 

Little Duke is seriously SO handsome!! And his head is perfect.  Is that weird?  If you see a lot of newborns, you understand me.  Duke was snoozing away when I arrived and I didn’t even realize he was 2 feet away from me.  Brooklyn was so excited for me to meet her little baby, too!  She is already such a sweet big sister.  She wanted to show me all of his animals, clothes, and was right there to rub his arm when he would let out the tiniest whimper.  

Jamie & Dan are not newbies to this blog.  I have gotten to do Brooklyn’s newborn photos, their family photos, and their last session was super original – inside their home while it was being built!  Remember that one?  So fun!  Now the house is all done and straight out of a magazine.  It is gorgeous!!  Duke’s bedroom is decorated better than my own room.  Every little detail is just beautiful and so thought through.  I love it!  Don’t miss the amazing light fixture either because I think that’s my favorite part.

Back to Duke.  He came into this world weighing in at 6 lb 10 oz and was 19.5 inches long.  He loves being swaddled up tight and snuggling.  I can tell he has mommy wrapped around his finger already and I support it!  Mama’s & their baby boys…it’s a whole different world.  I’m so excited to see who this baby boy becomes.  One thing is for sure, he is always going know that he is so very loved!
