I interrupt spring wedding season to bring you a precious baby girl!  Madelyn entered this world a few weeks ago and she is the sweetest thing already!  Back in the fall, Brooke emailed me about doing a mini session with them and she wanted to include a few pregnancy announcement photos.  I was so excited for them and for Claire, who was going to be a big sister!!!  That seemed like just yesterday, and now Madelyn is already here!

During their mini session, I got to see how close this family is.  The 3 of them are super tight and Claire is such a fun, kind, gentle little girl.  She loved giving me the cutest smiles for her pictures, and snuggling up on Mom & Dad.  The moment I got to their home for Madelyn’s session, Claire came running to the door to tell me she had a baby in the house!

Her cute little self made sure I whispered and tip toed around the corner to see her sister sleeping.  She is so proud of little Madelyn and grins ear to ear when she tells you she is a big sister.  These two are going to be the best of friends!

Madelyn came into this world at 8 pounds 6 ounces and 20.5 inches long.  She is perfect!  She loved having her eyes open and taking it all in during her session.  She has some serious head control already, too!  You will see a photo of her holding her head straight up, staring right at me!  That does not usually happen at my newborn sessions!!

I am so glad I got to meet and snuggle Madelyn Rae!  Brooke & Joe – thank you for opening your home to me and letting me photograph your awesome family!!
