Happy Monday!!  I am thinking this is going to be the week of the newborns because I have a few that I need to show you all!  I hope you love cute, sleeping babies!!  There is nothing like a newborn baby.  They are one of the purest things you will ever hold.  I love coming to these sessions and getting to rock and snuggle these itty bitty beauties.  When I walked into Briana & Randy’s home last weekend, I went straight for little sleeping Jaxon so I could cuddle him!

I first met Briana & Randy in May for their maternity session.  You may remember seeing it, but if not, click here to check it out.  They were models, I swear!  Luckily, I didn’t scare them away with all my excitement after every single photo because I was loving them so much.  They also weren’t afraid to truck through super tall grass and weeds where there were potential snakes and bugs hiding so that was a plus.

We talked all about the two of them and baby Jaxon, how amazing little boys are & how much fun they were going to have.  It almost seems surreal to go from imagining your baby to him being out your belly & in your arms.  I looked at Briana at the beginning of the session and said, “Can you even believe he is finally here?”  And her response was “No!” It is such a crazy, beautiful, world altering feeling.  I love it!!

I loved Jaxon’s session because of how relaxed it was.  We stayed mostly in their room, which is basically where the baby is majority of the time those first few weeks, as parents know.  Jaxon was happiest when mom & dad were cuddling him together and those are my favorite photos from this session!  We were also able to get some photos of Jaxon laying on Randy’s jacket from the Marines!

Little Jaxon is a beauty and I just love that head of dark hair!  I’m excited to see all that he will do and become, but for now, I know he is getting all the snuggles he can.  Take a look at this sweet baby boy!
