Hi there! I'm Caiti and I am a portrait photographer living in Disputanta, Virginia. I am a music loving, doughtnut eating, coffee drinking, mama of 2. This is the place where you can come to see my latest work with my beautiful clients and learn more about me, my husband, and our sweet babies. Take a look around and enjoy!
I am so excited for y’all to see the pictures of this couple! Brittany contacted me a couple months ago about taking her maternity pictures and we immediately set a date & started talking about outfits and locations. We went back in forth on some ideas and decided on two local spots – one being Josh’s parents’ land. This property is GORGEOUS!! The drive way is about a mile long (so you start wondering if you are really just driving into endless woods), but then it opens up to huge fields! I can just picture little kids running around those fields at grandma & grandpa’s house.
This property is also very sentimental to Josh & Brittany. Other than the obvious fact that Josh’s parents live there, Brittany & Josh got married there just a couple years ago. How sweet that they got to have maternity pictures taken, with their precious son in Brittany’s belly, right where they got married?! That’s so sweet!! We drove all around that land, taking pictures in the fields, the long driveway, and by the pond. I didn’t know much about these two before I met them, other than that we had lots of mutual friends and live in the same county. When we were talking, Brittany said they had been together for 12 years….12 years people!!! 12 YEARS! Scroll down….look at their young faces…then wrap your mind around 12 years! That, my friends, is true love!!! Brittany was 14 years old when they started dating! I am super impressed because you grow up SO much in high school and college. So much about you changes but these two just grew up & changed together. And stayed in love!! I love it.
After we took pictures on the farm, we drove out to the river front (and took those 15 minutes to thaw out in our cars because…people…it was freezing). We only had a few minutes of sunlight left so we went right up to the water…in the crazy, freezing cold winds. It may have been cold but Brittany is such a gorgeous, little mama! She can make anything look good, and she did!! That blue dress just flowing in the wind made it all the more perfect!
– Free Advice: Girls…Mamas…Ladies…Wear a flowy dress! I am not kidding you, it will always make you feel even more beautiful and always adds a whole new level of gorgeous-ness (not a word, I know) to your pictures! Trust me. Ditch the jeans and grabbed the long dress. It’s so romantic.
I had such a great time getting to hang out with Josh & Brittany and get to know them! I can’t wait to meet their son, Camden!! He will be here in a matter of weeks!! AH! Enjoy looking through these pictures and leave a comment letting us know what you think!
While taking these pictures, I just kept saying “I love it!!” because…seriously…look at them!!
Probably my favorite image…or at least top 2!
Thank you for stopping by!!!
XOXO

What a joy to be able to see these pictures. So wonderful to know, as I always did, that Joshua would grow up to be such a handsome and loving young man. Brittany is such a lucky girl and Camden will be truly blessed with parents that are so much in love! Xoxox ❤
