I have a beautiful little girl to show y’all today!  I think almost all my blog posts for the next 6 weeks will be newborns.  Kidding….kind of.  There are a lot of babies that have been born or are about to be born soon who need to grace the pages of the CGP blog.  I am SO excited about this, though, because it means I get alllll the baby snuggles.  Could I ask for a better job?!

Meet Charlotte.  She was born in the middle of a snow storm, on January 3 at 10:56pm.  Charlotte was 7 lbs 10oz and 19.25 inches long.  This little girl made me melt.  I thought about just staying there and holding her for the afternoon, but I had to go pick up my own kids.  They are way bigger than a newborn so holding them isn’t the same…so there’s that.  Charlotte has such a sweet family and just the cutest big brother, Sawyer!!   To top it off, they have a chocolate lab so that is a family I can relate to!  Scout even joined us at the end of the session.

Steph (Charlotte’s Mommy) emailed me before the session and told me they wanted to get a picture of Charlotte in a ham bag.  I honestly didn’t know what to picture when she said “ham bag” because I am one of those people who has only ever purchased a ham at my local grocery store.  The bags they come in are NOT cute.  But this ham bag is adorable and has the company logo on it.  Steph’s parents own Edwards Virginia Smokehouse in Surry so the bag is from their business.  Sawyer had his picture taken in the same bag when we was a newborn.  How cute is that?

This session was so much fun to do and Charlotte was completely chill throughout all of it.  She either laid there just starring at us or was sound asleep.   Tom & Steph did an amazing job decorating Charlotte’s beautiful nursery!!  The light pink and pops of gold are perfect.  Steph even added a few pineapple items in the room, which she has throughout their entire home (true symbol of southern hospitality!).
