Hi there! I'm Caiti and I am a portrait photographer living in Disputanta, Virginia. I am a music loving, doughtnut eating, coffee drinking, mama of 2. This is the place where you can come to see my latest work with my beautiful clients and learn more about me, my husband, and our sweet babies. Take a look around and enjoy!
Isn’t it strange how so many of us love fall so much and can’t wait for it to arrive, yet it just goes by SO FAST!? Don’t get me wrong, Christmas is my favorite time of year so I am glad that is here but fall went too quickly. I love the changing leaves, but, before we knew it, they had all fallen. We were lucky to get these mini sessions during one of the last beautiful fall weekends of the season.
I am entering my “off season”, as most would say, but I still have plenty of other photos to share with you all so posts will still be going up. I also have a lot of newborn sessions planned for January and February, which I am so excited for! We all know I need to get my baby fix in as often as possible because I love holding those snuggling little beauties!
Enough about that, let’s talk about this last group of mini sessions. My final day was a shorter one with only three sessions. We changed it up and met over at Grant’s Headquarters in Hopewell. I truly love this location because it has so many options and it is gorgeous! A few other photographers were offering sessions at the same time but you couldn’t even tell because we had so much open space to use. Plus, I love seeing other photographers out doing their thing {community over competition, people!}.
These three sessions were all families, yet again, all so different! This first family – the Ponders – I have known most of my life. I photographed their sweet boy, Dean’s, newborn photos last December and now they are expecting another baby boy this winter. The Maltempi’s are the next family and we had met at a wedding that my husband and I were shooting last May. I was so excited they chose to come for my mini sessions because they are such kind hearted & fun people! I loved getting to know them! Also, Brooke runs a really cute business called The Joyful Peach so go check her out!
The McNulty’s are the last family and they always have me laughing! I loved that they came out again this year! I have known JP for awhile, since he coached my brother’s soccer team, but I met the rest of the family last year. They are gems! Seriously! I told them that they give me hope that my kids just get cooler as they grow up (my kids are super cool right now though haha) because they are so much fun to be around! You will be able to tell from the pictures how awesome they are – trust me!
So with that said, here is the last mini session post! I hope you enjoyed seeing all the amazing clients that came out to my mini’s this year because I truly enjoyed them! I want to do more mini session days this spring so be on the look out for that information in a few months!
Dean just celebrated his first birthday this past weekend!
Dean – you are an ANGEL!
Jordan is such a gorgeous mama!
I loved getting to take pictures for this beautiful family!

I was so happy when the McNulty’s signed up for a session again this year! I just love this family!
These 3 are some of the sweetest and funniest kids I have every met!
