Most of the time you may hear people say something along the lines of “their love is like a fairytale”.  In the case of Gigi & Mickey, I find that very true but I ALSO believe that their love it something out of a musical!   The entire day felt like a real life musical which kept a smile on my face all day!  I walked in to the Mill At Fine Creek that afternoon and immediately knew where all the ladies were because I could hear their angelic voices in perfect harmony upstairs while getting their hair & makeup done.   Gigi and Mickey met while singing in an a cappella group together in college and many of their friends have this same musical background (which made the day that much more exciting!).

Aside from all of that, the day was also filled with so much love and excitement.  Everyone was just ecstatic to see these two marry one another and start this life as husband and wife.  All day long, people were crying happy tears or talking about how perfect they are together – and they were NOT exaggerating one bit!  I want to tell you about a couple things I just loved during this wedding day before you take a look at their pictures.

Gigi’s dad gave a toast before dinner began and couldn’t get a sentence out before getting choked up.  You see, Gigi and Mickey are each very close to their family.  I could immediately tell how much they all loved one another.  What I didn’t know was how close their families were to EACH OTHER.  Gigi’s dad took one look at Mickey’s dad and said “I love you, man!” and truly meant it!  You could feel that!  Chris (Gigi’s dad) said that he knew what kind of man Mickey was from the first time he hugged him and he was beyond happy that his little girl was married to him.  We were all emotional!  Every girl wants that….her father to be that genuinely happy over her husband.  The feelings go both ways too because Mickey’s mom was telling me how much they adore having Gigi in their family!  They were meant for each other but their families have also come together in such a beautiful way.

During the ceremony, Gigi and her girls had a little surprise for Mickey.  They had prepared “I Choose You” by Sara Bareilles, to sing a cappella.  It. Was. AMAZING!!  Seriously!!  I do not know how Gigi held it together while singing but I am so glad she did because she is incredible!  Mickey had tears streaming down his face while watching the love of his life sing to him (let’s be honest, we were all crying!)!  It was after that moment that I looked at Anthony and said “this is the best!!” because I just LOVE these people!

I don’t know if I have ever been at a wedding or reception like this one! The excitement and joy never ever faded from everyones faces.  The couple, the families, the friends..everyone..was laughing, smiling, and DANCING all night!  Even when the DJ said it was the last song, the dance floor was packed and people were sad to leave!

I could go on for many more paragraphs about how amazing & caring this couple is, how fun & sweet their wedding party was, the GORGEOUS venue, and the incredible vendors (check them out at the end of the post)!  I will let the photos speak for themselves though!

Mickey & Gigi – we can not explain to you just how grateful we are to have been the ones to capture your big day!  It was the best day ever and we just love you two!
