It wasn’t long ago that Michelle asked me to meet her on this chunk of land and take a picture of a floor plan. Sounds a little silly, right, but they me explain. It was THEIR floor plan! It was the floor plan for the home that they would one day build right there. I took those pictures of she and the kids, holding that framed piece of paper, for her to give Chris. This had been a dream of their’s for so long!! And here it was, about to come true.
Well, last week I took pictures on that land again but now it is their HOME! They have built their dream house there and are raising their two beautiful children there. I am so happy for them! Their long driveway, gorgeous house, and huge yard are picture perfect and make for such a great place to be! Also, they have lots of chickens so that’s always fun! Seriously though…while taking pictures in the yard, all of the sudden Chris yells “Come here girls!”, and the chickens come RUNNING! Have you ever seen a chicken sprint towards you? Hilarious and slightly terrifying. Those girls just walked all around us the entire time and I loved it. Even when I almost stepped on one and she smacked my leg with her wing. I still love her.
The Taylor’s are such a fun, easy going, sweet family. We all had such a great time together that night! We just walked around the property, taking pictures, and talking about life. Wyatt was asking me all about my kids, Grace read us her favorite book, and we all just sat by the fire afterwards, hanging out (can every session end that way?!).
