If you haven’t noticed, it has a been a little while since I blogged a session.  Between ALL of the Christmas sessions and the holidays, things were so busy!!  Nothing actually died down until this week.  After Christmas, it was my birthday AND our 7 year anniversary!  I feel like I have basically been celebrating for 2 weeks straight!  We have had such a wonderful holiday season and were so sad to see it come to end.  Now, every one is getting back into our normal routine and I will be sharing some of the sessions that happened in the fall/this past month.

The Reams family session was actually early fall, but I was saving it to be blogged once wedding season was over because I really wanted yall to see it!  Jennifer had been messaging me about her vision for their family pictures and I was excited from the beginning!  She sent me a picture of her skirt and I was sold!  I knew this was going to look good!   I LOVE when families show up looking like they are just READY to have their picture taken.  I recommend for people to dress a little nicer than they do on a daily basis because you don’t want to necessarily look the same way you alway do in your pictures.  You want them to be special.  You want them to stand out from your day-to-day.  That doesn’t mean you have to be in a prom dress & tuxedo, but I don’t recommend everyone wearing flip flops and a t-shirt, ya know? So, when the Reams family got out of their car, I was so impressed!  The tulle skirt, hells, suspenders, dress, sports coat – they nailed it!!!  I want to borrow their outfits & re-do my own family pictures!

I loved getting to know this family!   Joey and Jennifer were so laid back and easy to work with!  Jennifer had told me that she and Joey wanted pictures together, just the two of them, and I was all for that!  Mom’s & Dad’s NEED that!!  Sometimes they think I am crazy when I ask the kids to step aside for a little bit, but every one always appreciates this.  The fact that they wanted these images just made my life so much easier.  What really impressed me though were their kids!  I started the session with taking pictures of the 3 kids together and they were awesome!  Posing together, smiling, & cheesing it up for me!  They were cracking me up, too!!  Camden & Kinston probably kept us ALL laughing the entire session.
