Hi there! I'm Caiti and I am a portrait photographer living in Disputanta, Virginia. I am a music loving, doughtnut eating, coffee drinking, mama of 2. This is the place where you can come to see my latest work with my beautiful clients and learn more about me, my husband, and our sweet babies. Take a look around and enjoy!
Fall is literally the busiest season ever! Which is why I have only blogged about one session a week for the past few weeks. There have been a SURPLUS though so I will be sharing plenty of them over the next few weeks, I’m sure. So, other than fall being the busiest season, it is also my favorite season!! The weather, the outfits, pumpkin everything, the glowy sunsets, the days getting shorter (aka bedtimes getting earlier because my kids are too young to understand time! Mom win!), and all of the engagement sessions! I fully support fall engagements! Clare new she wanted to do she & Geordie’s pictures in October for all of the reasons everyone else should – they get to wear super cute clothes (scarves, boots, vests, etc), it won’t be super hot outside (which is a huge plus for the groom, too), and the colors are perfect! Also, their wedding will be next October so it was only fitting.
When Clare contacted me, I had no idea who she was but she sounded really fun & I knew I loved a good fall wedding so I was sold pretty quickly. Then, after talking to her fiancé, she emailed me saying “you know my fiancé!”!! Ummm, you bet I do! I have known Geordie basically forever. We went to school together from elementary school until graduation. He was a football player and I was a cheerleader, right there on the sidelines, yelling for him every Friday night. This made me even MORE excited for their wedding!! I am just so excited for the two of them! Geordie & Clare are both such fun people. Geordie has no issue making people laugh and Clare has a way of making you instantly feel like close friends.
We spent the evening walking around Old Town, Petersburg and just talking. Geordie & Clare first met in that town so it was very sentimental to do their engagements there. Clare told me how her mom had met Geordie when he was working one day and told Clare that she should meet this man. Then, one day, she walked in Geordie’s work and it didn’t take long (I’m assuming only minutes) before Geordie was asking her on a date. The rest is history because here they are!
Geordie & Clare’s wedding is going to be so much fun, I just can’t believe we have to wait a whole year for it to get here! It will go by quick, though!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you liked what you see!
