It may be almost Christmas but I still have a couple fall weddings to share!!  Today, I want y’all to see Caitlin & Ray’s beautiful wedding in Farmville at the Barn at Timber Creek.  These two are a classic Longwood/Hampden Sydney love story and who doesn’t melt at those?!  They are both so much fun to be around, which made their entire day an amazing time!  

I met Caitlin over a year ago for coffee and we could have chatted for hours!!  Instant friendship!  Maybe it’s because we are both in love with our lab puppies (or giant dogs, however you prefer to see them).  Then, months later, we all met up in Virginia Beach for their engagement session at the coolest spot ever, the Brock Environmental Center!  I wish I lived closer to there because I would be there weekly for sessions. 

Ray & Caitlin’s wedding day finally arrived and it was absolutely perfect.  The weather was the best we could have asked for and everyone was having fun from beginning to end.  Also, Timber Creek is an incredible venue.  It was beautiful everywhere you look, inside and out!!  From the pasture with cows and horses, to the epic barn, to the whimsical feeling woods, to the stunning new cottage – you can’t help but love this place.  

The ceremony was set up in the trees, which is my favorite spot!  It feels like a fairytale in there with the tall trees, draped fabric, and arbor filled with flowers.  Caitlin and Ray’s vision for their day came together perfectly!  No matter how great everything looked though – the best part is, by far, the couple! Of course!  And all the people in their lives that love them so much and came to support them. 

This couple is super fun, as I said before, and they were cracking each other up from the start of their first look and it continued through the day.  They were both really excited to see each other and loved getting that time together!!  But they also wanted to jump start having a good time with all of their people.  Once we did some portraits of the two of them, we brought over their wedding party!  I was legitimately bent over in laughter at one point because this group was hilarious.  I loved every second of working with them!!  I can see why Caitlin and Ray love them all so much (and vice versa!).  I just love seeing couples truly enjoy themselves on their wedding day, and Caitlin & Ray did just that!!

The entire day was beautiful!  We genuinely loved being a part of it.  The day was definitely all about Ray and Caitlin but Caitlin’s grandparents stole the show during the reception.  I could have watched them dance all day long.  They are in their 90’s and were out there working the dance floor for hours!!  They are GOALS!  Keep scrolling to see the cutest couple of all time!
