Hi there! I'm Caiti and I am a portrait photographer living in Disputanta, Virginia. I am a music loving, doughtnut eating, coffee drinking, mama of 2. This is the place where you can come to see my latest work with my beautiful clients and learn more about me, my husband, and our sweet babies. Take a look around and enjoy!
Last week, I got to meet a beautiful little girl who was only 5 days new!! Miss Lillian was just so sweet & sleepy. She could not have cared less about us moving her around, wrapping her up, unwrapping her, or anything else. We were laughing at how chill she was!! Having 2 kids of my own, my main advice is to soak that time up because it will change…quickly.
Lillian’s parents are friends of mine and I even got to photograph their wedding!! Having photographed Clare & Geordie’s engagements and then wedding, I was SO excited to get to take pictures of their baby girl!! These two are so crazy in love with their daughter, and I couldn’t wait to see them as a family of 3!
Clare posted on Facebook the other day about how “life is made up of fleeting moments” and basically, we should not take these for granted! The day she & Geordie met, neither of them knew what was coming! Geordie went to work, like any other day, and Clare was just out shopping with her mom. They met by chance. It only took a moment before they knew they wanted to go on a date. So many little moments then led to this precious baby girl entering their life and changing them forever!!
When babies are little, those moments and days seem so long. They can feel like forever, especially when they are fussy! Then years go by and you realize how fleeting those sweet moments are!! That is one of the many reasons I love newborn sessions…I get to have a newborn in my arms again for a couple hours and there is nothing like it! So mamas – soak it in, every single moment!!
Meet Lillian!
This is probably my favorite photo because you see just how petite this beauty girl is.
Luna was a part of the session the entire time, as well. And she loved having her picture taken! Such a pretty kitty!
Thanks for stopping by!
XOXO
