Let me just put it out there that this will not be the last time you see this girl’s beautiful face!!  I have yet to blog her beach maternity/family session but that will be coming at you next week!  After we had her baby shower at my house over the weekend, which you can see here, we decided we needed to take pictures in the fields that surround us.  She already had the perfect dress & flower crown for it, so why not?!

The last time Brittany was pregnant, she and Taylor were living in Louisiana.  They came back to visit during the pregnancy but it was when Brittany was earlier along so I was making her push her belly out as much as she could for a maternity session.  Everyone is so happy that they are living here now and we can all be with them for this pregnancy and once baby boy arrives.  I’ll say more about all that in their next blog post 🙂

Since Anthony & I moved at the beginning of the month, we have talked about doing sessions in our fields.  I knew it was something I hoped to be able to do but I just hadn’t yet.  Brittany was the perfect person to have model for me to test it all out.  We get the most beautiful sunsets out here, through the trees and over all that tall grass.  I really feel like we should buy the lot across the street just to guarantee a house doesn’t even block that view.

We went out to take these photos right as the sun was setting, so we only had about 15-20 minutes.  We used every bit of light we had and I just love how these turned out!  Some are darker or hazier than my usual bright & colorful images but that is totally okay with me!!  That is the whole point of being creative, isn’t it?  Plus, I love being able to have those options.

The sky once the sun was gone was amazing! This was the last photo we took because the light was pretty much gone.
