Hi there! I'm Caiti and I am a portrait photographer living in Disputanta, Virginia. I am a music loving, doughtnut eating, coffee drinking, mama of 2. This is the place where you can come to see my latest work with my beautiful clients and learn more about me, my husband, and our sweet babies. Take a look around and enjoy!
What better thing to do on this snowy Wednesday than look at photos of a sleeping newborn? Warning: This post may make you want to curl up on the couch and take a nap. I feel like that almost every time I edit newborn photos. Connor is NO exception!! This sleepy little boy was just perfect for his session, at only 6 days new, and loved being snuggled up tight.
Amy contacted me a few months ago, knowing she really wanted this lifestyle feel for their son’s newborn photos. She and Kevin both commented on how comfortable and easy the session was, which is definitely my main goal! Connor seemed to loved it, as well.
When I first arrived, I went up to see Connor snoozing away in his crib. He is so handsome! He was born a few weeks sooner than his mommy & daddy had expected because Amy anticipated going until her due date. Connor had other plans and decided to break mama’s water 3 weeks early, while she was at work. He tried to come as quick as possible, but, luckily, Kevin & Amy made it to the hospital in time! Connor was born a perfectly healthy baby boy, at 6 lbs 6 oz and 20 inches long.
I love stories like that! We really are not in control and babies have the tendency to show us that, right?! Connor was ready to meet his family so…he did! He has the perfect head of hair and is as cute as can be. He loves being warm and swaddled. His puppy, Bella, loves him already, too!
Take a look through these photos at sweet Connor!
Those little hands!
Amy & Kevin created such a beautiful room for Connor! I love all the little details.
I love this maps mountain picture Amy made! Now, I want to make one for my own family!
MELTED!!! This photo is my favorite!
Bella!! What a sweet puppy!
This blanket was knitted by Amy’s grandmother who turns 90 this year!!
Thanks for stopping by!
XOXO
