Hi there! I'm Caiti and I am a portrait photographer living in Disputanta, Virginia. I am a music loving, doughtnut eating, coffee drinking, mama of 2. This is the place where you can come to see my latest work with my beautiful clients and learn more about me, my husband, and our sweet babies. Take a look around and enjoy!
The title of this post kinda says it all. Yes, I waited until January to post about my family’s vacation because I totally forgot to blog it. Whoops! I definitely gave myself a pat of the back for even taking my camera out during our vacation, though, because I am notorious for not using my real camera and just using my phone. While the iPhone has an excellent camera, nothing compares to real quality images right from my Nikon.
I have a beautiful little girl to show y’all today! I think almost all my blog posts for the next 6 weeks will be newborns. Kidding….kind of. There are a lot of babies that have been born or are about to be born soon who need to grace the pages of the CGP blog. I am SO excited about this, though, because it means I get alllll the baby snuggles. Could I ask for a better job?!
Virginia weather has really gone all out this winter. She is not holding back very much! We have had some of the coldest days I can remember, which sounds silly to some people, but not for those of us who have lived here our entire lives. We aren’t use to the air feeling like it is cutting through your skin without the wind even blowing! Plus, it has already snowed multiple time before the middle of January?! I do love the snow though, so I’ll take it.
Christmas Eve is tomorrow, people!! That came quick, fast, and in a hurry! I really wanted to get this session up on the blog before Christmas though because I just love it and it is the perfect wintery, maternity session!
The title of this post may be deceiving because the new home is still under construction but that wasn’t going to stop the Flagg Family! Dan & Jamie have been building their new home for months now and are definitely excited for it to be done early this spring. However, they wanted their family Christmas […]
This year has been a year full of people I know adding new additions to their family! A lot of those are babies (which helps with my baby fever because I can snuggle them then give them right back) but the rest have been PUPPIES! Who doesn’t love puppies?!? If you raised your hand to that question, then we need to evaluate your reasoning because I find this very hard to believe. Puppies instantly make you smile and the puppy that the Ream’s Family added to their clan does just that!
Isn’t it strange how so many of us love fall so much and can’t wait for it to arrive, yet it just goes by SO FAST!? Don’t get me wrong, Christmas is my favorite time of year so I am glad that is here but fall went too quickly. I love the changing leaves, but, before we knew it, they had all fallen. We were lucky to get these last mini sessions during one of the last beautiful fall weekends of the season.
Yesterday I posted part ONE of my Fall Mini Sessions so if you missed that, go check it out! Today – Part Two! These families are all amazing and deserve to be showed off on a blog post so I wanted to put up some images from each one of the sessions. I love mini session days allow me to see families I haven’t seen in almost a year and meet new clients who hopeful come back again & again!
This perfect fall session may have left me wanting to have another baby! That sounds super weird, doesn’t it? Let me clarify. Brandon & Mary Claire brought their perfect little angel of a son with them to their session last week so that we could also do some family pictures and I fell in love. Braxton is the sweetest little baby boy! He reminded me so much of my Mason when he was a baby – fair skin, blonde hair, blue eyes, and big dimples!! I melted!!
A couple weeks ago, we were away at the beach on our family vacation. We had the best time! I am going to be blogging the pictures I took that week soon, for sure. My brother & his family traveled down for their own family vacation the weekend we were leaving, but we overlapped a day so we planned family pictures for all of us! Sean & Meghan are also in the photography business, as well as do videography (we got to all 4 do a wedding together this summer, for the first time, and LOVED IT), so of course we swap photo sessions when we can. Perks of having family in the industry, right?
