Last weekend, I got to meet up with Casey & Preston for their engagement photos!  We were so excited for this!  I had met with Casey months before this, other coffee & donuts at Buttermilk (basically the cutest bakeshop ever).  We were instant friends because Casey is so sweet and easy to talk to you!!  Plus, we bonded over motherhood stories. 

Happy Wednesday!  We are halfway through the week and I haven’t accomplished half of what I planned to but that’s okay – right? I hope so because that’s life!  What I am getting done, though, is showing y’all this beautiful engagement session!!  We had quite a different backdrop than we usually have.  No wheat fields or country side for this session.  We met Kaley & Peter at the National Mall in Washington D.C. So FUN!

Happy Wednesday!!  Hopefully you had a fantastic holiday weekend!  I know I did.  And it all started off with this engagement session on Friday evening!  If you don’t know already….it is hot outside.  Blazing hot.  ‘Middle of July’ hot.  ‘Bugs sticking to your hair & body’ hot.  Yet, somehow, Kimi & Shawn looked crazy good for their entire session!  We were laughing throughout all of it, especially when trying to figure out the best way to climb through wheat that was up to our waists.  

Busy season is officially upon us!  When this time comes every year, I tend to just put my head down and get it done.  My social media posts for my sessions and my blog posts tend to get pushed to the side because I just want to edit & deliver galleries – then repeat!  I definitely didn’t want to go without telling y’all about this amazing couple though!!
