One of the most common things people say to new parents is to cherish every moment because it all goes by so fast. They are right!! It truly does fly by! Pregnancy seems to take forever, but that first year of a baby’s life (and every year after that) goes by in a blink.  I remember Brooklyn’s newborn session like it was yesterday!!  My husband and I went to Dan & Jamie’s house just days after Brooklyn was born. She was so tiny and beautiful!  Now, here she is a YEAR OLD!! Just as gorgeous and sweet as can be!

For Brooklyn’s first birthday, her mom planned the cutest FUNFETTI themed party! I knew everything would look great because Jamie is a wedding & event planner. She does amazing work! The decorations were perfect, flowers were gorgeous, food was delicious, and she even catered to the adult’s drink preferences (probably my favorite part!)!! It was such a fun event!  Their backyard was filled with their loving family & closest friends, as well as Brooklyn’s two little friends who you MAY recognize if you follow me on Facebook (hint: they are twins!).  Brooklyn loved just walking around, playing with bubbles, and snacking on all her yummy treats.  She is one very loved baby girl!
