Hi there! I'm Caiti and I am a portrait photographer living in Disputanta, Virginia. I am a music loving, doughtnut eating, coffee drinking, mama of 2. This is the place where you can come to see my latest work with my beautiful clients and learn more about me, my husband, and our sweet babies. Take a look around and enjoy!
Sean & Stacey got married this past weekend and it was only 20 plus years in the making!! I have been messaging, emailing, and texting with Stacey for months about all of the details of the big day and how excited we both were! This day was prayed over and waited for….and there was so much joy when it came. Sean & Stacey both have such a great support system with their family and friends. People who love them, stand by them, and are cheering for them every step of the way. It was so beautiful to see all of these people come together to celebrate the two of them!
You may remember Sean & Stacey’s engagement session back in the fall. If you don’t, no worries because you can see it here, but I am also going to recap a little of their story….because it is that important!
Stacey met Sean about 23 years ago at Richard Bland College where they were both taking classes. They hung out with a lot of the same friends and took classes together but nothing romantic ever came of it. Fast forward 20+ years to a VCU game. Stacey is a die hard Rams basketball fan and Sean is a sports anchor for CBS 6 News (and NOT a VCU fan, let it be known). Stacey spotted Sean at the game, because he was there for work. You see…weeks before this, Sean had requested to be friends with Stacey on Facebook but she hadn’t responded to him yet. After seeing him at the basketball game, she quickly hit ACCEPT because she wanted to get to know him again! The rest is history! These two quickly fell in love and here we are now!
During the toasts at their wedding, one of their friends said that the best relationships are built on friendships. When you have grown that friendship first, you are able to grow together as a couple so easily. I definitely find that to be true because I had known Anthony for 21 years before we started dating. Now, it is true for Sean & Stacey as well. You can NOT deny the fact that they are made for each other! It is so obvious to all of the people around them, as well as strangers!
I truly just love these two people! Their joy and happiness is contagious! Stacey was such a dream bride to work with and I am so grateful that she chose use as their photographers!
Sean & Stacey’s wedding day was made possible by SO many amazing friends & family members working to set up everything. They also used truly incredible vendors to make their day as beautiful & delicious as possible. Prepare for picture overload! When I can’t choose, you just get to see a bunch! That’s okay though, because these two are worth it!
Over The Top Flowers did such an INCREDIBLE job on Stacey’s bouquet! Everyone was in love with it!
Sean & Stacey knew they wanted a first look so that they could calm their nerves and allow them to have those intimate moments together. Their faces say it all!
{I love this shot Anthony got of Sean, just seconds before he walked around the corner to see his Bride.}
For those who think that the first look takes away from that moment when the bride walks down to her groom…they are SO wrong!
Since Sean & Stacey are serious sports fans, and sports brought them together, it was only fitting to have all of the team pennants at their wedding!
Stacey’s daddy used every ounce of strength he had to dance with her as long as he could! It was the most beautiful showing of love for his baby girl!!
We had to gather up all of the CBS people! After all, CBS is the reason Stacey & Sean found each other again!
Sunset portraits!!!
I couldn’t resist adding in this picture of Tommy playing with the bubble machine!
