Wedding season is upon us, people!!  Things have officially gotten busy around here, which means weekends packed with sessions, and then weddings start in a few weeks.  We had a couple engagement sessions & a bridal session with weekend, which is so fun because I get to be around my brides!  I feel like I JUST met Anna, even though it was months ago.  Time has flown and their big day is quickly approaching.  Anna & Travis are getting married in one month so we talked a lot about their wedding day during their session.  I don’t want to give anything away so you will just have to stayed tuned!

Anna and Travis grew up in the same hometown.  They went to school together and started dating back in high school when Anna was a sophomore and Travis was a junior.  These two have been through ring dance, prom, homecomings, then stayed together through all of those college years and now, here they are!  More in love and just as taken with each other!  The sweetness Travis has around Anna, and the giggles she gets when talking to him, definitely showed us they are legit crazy for one other!

Anthony and I met up with Travis and Anna at Yorktown beach for their session.  The historic, colonial homes that are just one street up from the beach, were the perfect place to start while the beach was still kind of crowded.  When discussing locations, we knew we wanted somewhere with a nautical feel because it totally fits them!  It also fits their wedding theme!  The historic section was just a last minute thought, but it worked perfect because they are big fans of Williamsburg so that colonial feel was right up their alley.  By the time we ventured down to the waterfront, we all felt like old friends, just laughing and joking around!  I love when couples get to meet Anthony before a wedding day, and interact with the two of us, because it really puts the grooms at ease (or at least that is the way I see it).  Plus, Anthony is a pretty cool guy so who wouldn’t want to hang out with him, right? I am partial to him, though, considering I’m his wife.

So, enough talk, I am going to just let you scroll through some of my favorite shots from Anna and Travis’ engagement session!  In a matter of weeks, they will be back up here as husband and wife!  Once again – you are going to love their wedding day!  I will give you three words that describe some details of their big day: oysters, wildflowers, pig.  Now, you figure it out.
