Is it fall yet?  Technically, yes, but I am going to need this weather to understand that we are over the 80 degrees.  However, on the evening of this session, it was surprisingly cool, felt like fall, and then the sunrise was killer!!  It was exactly what we wanted!

I met Chad, Lynsey, & Aiden months ago at our initially meeting and we all clicked right away!  We found ourselves just laughing for over an hour.  They told me all about their plans for the wedding, what they wanted, and what they were envisioning.  Their spring wedding at Meadow Hall Mansion is going to be gorgeous!!!  We all got even more excited for it while talking during this engagement session!

Chad & Lynsey met each other at work, of all places!  Chad pursued Lynsey and it took her months to finally say yes to a  first date!  He never gave up though, which says a lot about this man’s heart.  He knew how he felt and waited until Lynsey was ready.  Lynsey didn’t just have her own heart to think about, but had to think about her little man – Aiden.  This boy is treasure.  He is just so sweet, fun, silly, and kind hearted.  I could tell at that first meeting just how amazing of a mama Lynsey is!  I know that is one of the many things Chad adores about her!

After that first date, they stayed together (obviously) and have been together for over 2.5 years.  Chad proposed to Lynsey last December at Lewis Ginter!  If you haven’t seen it there at Christmas time, it is incredible!  Their family was there with them to see the lights and Chad made Lynsey walk around the just the perfect spot.  Of course, she had no idea why he had to go to this one specific spot, but was happily surprised when he proposed!

For their engagement session, we of course wanted to do family pictures as well!  Lynsey and Aiden have never had pictures done together so I know this is so special for her.  A mama has got to have pictures with her baby boy!!  We had such a great time and that sunset was making our photo dreams come true!  Enjoy this sweet lakeside engagement session!

Fun story: While I was taking these ADORABLE photos of Aiden & his mommy, Chad said “Can we just send one of these as our ‘save the date’?”  Because he knew how much he was going to love these!
