Hi there! I'm Caiti and I am a portrait photographer living in Disputanta, Virginia. I am a music loving, doughtnut eating, coffee drinking, mama of 2. This is the place where you can come to see my latest work with my beautiful clients and learn more about me, my husband, and our sweet babies. Take a look around and enjoy!
Yesterday was a perfect day for a baby shower!! Brittany is my sister-in-law and she is due to have her baby boy in exactly one month!! You will hear and see so much more about this in the multiple maternity session posts that will be coming to the blog because I want to share ALL of the photos. Before that though, I want y’all to see her beautiful shower.
We all couldn’t wait to spoil this mama bear and her baby boy, Landry. He is already so very loved and everyone is excited to meet him!!! Kendall & I put together a brunch shower and we loved the way it turned out. We really just wanted Brittany to have a morning with her closest girlfriends, hanging out and talking all things baby boy!
We had help from some other businesses to make this shower a total success! First was Over The Top Flower Shop! Y’all have heard me talk and post about them before but seriously – I can’t say enough wonderful things. These arrangements and Brittany’s flower crown were just stunning! How can I keep them alive forever because I don’t want my home to be without them? That box of flowers is insane!! Seriously – scroll down and look.
We also got donuts from Buttermilk Bake Shop in Petersburg because…duh. What is a brunch shower without a bunch of donuts? My favorites are the Samoa donut (even better than the cookie) and the Blueberry glaze. You really can’t go wrong with any of them though. If you need a bakery…or just want a donut…go check them out! You wont be disappointed. (Get a cinnamon bun for me!)
Then, we made everyone’s Sunday complete by serving Chick Fil A nuggets with the chicken & waffles! If that’s cheating, then I don’t care because there was NO way I was going to make chicken better than them. We made waffles, cut them into bite size pieces, and attached the nuggets with a toothpick. Perfection. Seriously.
Overall, it was such a great morning and we are very thankful to everyone who came out to celebrate with us!
Mimosa bar = necessary!! We used Ginger Ale for all the mamas that needed it nonalcoholic.
Simply Mixed Berry is where it’s AT for a mimosa. You gotta try it!
YAAAAASSSS!
Shout out to Anthony for making that teepee for us!
Garter Sisters!
Some of the girls that came to celebrate!! Sorry, I didn’t get photos of everyone because some left before I even thought to do this! Whoops!
Darla had to make an appearance so the world could know how huge she is getting.
Autumn & Baby Kennedy!!! She is coming to the blog next so keep a look out for that!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you loved this post. If you have any questions about recipes or where anything came from, just comment below!
XOXO

Caiti: Everything and everyone looked gorgeous. Y’all outdid yourselves. And the food looks delicious. Britt looks more beautiful than I’ve ever seen her-and she always looks beautiful. I would sure like to use that florist sometime. They did an awesome job.
