I have a beautiful baby girl to brighten up your rainy Tuesday!!  I have been meaning to share this blog post for over a week now but our family life is super busy right now so I am finally getting the chance to put Amelia’s face on the blog.  She is a sweetheart!

I photographed Katie, Darryl, and Evelyn at the beginning of June for maternity photos…we almost got caught in a serious thunderstorm but check out that session here).  When she emailed me saying “Amelia is here!” I was SHOCKED!  This little girl made her appearance a few weeks early because she was just ready for the world to meet her.

When I walked into the room that she was sleeping in that Saturday morning of her session, she seriously looked like a doll baby!!  She acted like a doll baby for her session, too!  I loved getting to capture this family in their home and get photos of the beautiful nursery they have put together for Amelia.

We also got the cutest photos of Amelia & her awesome big sis, Evelyn, holding their Cuddle & Kind dolls!  These dolls are so cool and support an amazing cause – for each doll you buy, they provide 10 meals to children in need.  Also, they are HAND KNIT in Peru.  How cool is that!!??  I think my kids need one so someone tell Anthony.

We ended this session with probably the funniest photo I have ever taken of a newborn.  That’s all I am going to say about that so you just need to scroll down and look at the pictures.
