Today’s wedding is a sweet one!  I have been counting down for this!  Lisa and Chris instantly felt like friends to me.  I met Lisa for coffee almost a year ago.  We talked about motherhood, wedding, life – all the things!  I have had such a great year getting to know her and share in this exciting time!  When he first met, Lisa had nothing but wonderful things to say about Chris, and I couldn’t wait to meet him, too.  

Fast forward a few months and we meet in Old Town Petersburg for their engagement session.  Chris is the type of person that you naturally feel comfortable around.  He likes to make things fun and I know that is one thing Lisa loves about him.  He definitely keeps her laughing!  

Something else I noticed about these two at their engagement session and then wedding day (as well as the many times I have chatted with Lisa), is how crazy they are for one another.  I know, I know…duh.  They are getting married so of course they are in love.  But they both speak so highly of one another all the time – when they are together or when they are apart.  I’ve heard Lisa talk about how much she loves Chris and how he doesn’t just tell her he loves her, but shows her.  How they are without a doubt meant for one another!  I have heard Chris say how Lisa is literally the most beautiful woman, inside & out!  That he adores her! 

Also – they work together so…we all know it takes some special people to be able to work together every day AND be in a relationship. Shout out to all of you who do that!   

Not only are they in love with each other, but they love each other’s children!  They were both already parents when they met (met at their kids dance school) and their children are the most important things to them so dating wasn’t something to take lightly.  They have come together, with their kids, as such a beautiful family over these past 4 years!  I am so happy that they are now married and their lives are completely joined! 

The day could NOT have been any more perfect!  Their wedding took place at Celebrations at the Reservoir.  Sailboats were floating by throughout the ceremony, baby geese and even a lonely deer made an appearance throughout the day.  They chose to have their children be their wedding party and stand by them as they said their vows – tear jerker!!  Then, they had their first dance out on the patio with the strung lights shining on them.  It was just all beautiful!!
