I haven’t shared an engagement session in a while but I have got a great one for y’all today!!  Cory & Emily met me out at Berkeley Plantation for their pictures.  It is so beautiful out there!  The roses were starting to bloom and everything else is so bright green.  I have shot at this spot quite a few times now but never gone down to the riverfront and y’all…..I am so happy we made that hike down there!

Emily and Cory are getting married this coming fall and everyone is so excited for them!!  I have known Cory since probably 6th grade.  He is genuinely one of the nicest guys and always fun to be around!  Emily being with him just makes him light up.  And she is constantly smiling and laughing around Cory!!  Together, they just make sense, which is why we are all so happy they finally found each other!

The way these two met was actually a blind date.  They had a mutual friend who had told them about each other and said that they really needed to meet!  They met for drinks because you really shouldn’t commit to an entire dinner when going on a blind date (or so I have learned).  They didn’t hate each other so they did actually end up going to dinner after a little bit.  After that, it wasn’t long before they were dating and the rest is history!!

We were outrunning a storm during this session, which hit as soon as we were driving home.  It made for an amazing sky though!  The entire evening was a lot of fun and I loved getting to walk around this beautiful plantation, talking with them about all kinds of things and admiring all the cardinals we saw (just for you, Em!!). 

Their wedding day is going to be amazing and I can’t wait!!  I hope you enjoy looking through this session as much as I loved taking these photos!
