Hi there! I'm Caiti and I am a wedding & portrait photographer living in Prince George, Virginia. I am a music loving, doughtnut eating, coffee drinking, mama of 2. This is the place where you can come to see my latest work with my beautiful clients and learn more about me, my husband, and our sweet babies. Take a look around and enjoy!
This past weekend we had another perfect Saturday filled with gorgeous weather and an incredible couple!! This day has been much anticipated by ALL! You may remember seeing this couple in the fall when I did their engagement session. We had such a great time that night between Chimborazo park and the docks at Rockett’s Landing!
Kari & Daniel have officially been together for two years now and their friends & family could NOT be happier for them! After Daniel proposed last summer in a sunflower field, these two dove right into wedding planning – on top of working full time and buying a home, so it was a quite a year! Kari knew she wanted to be a part of every little detail of this wedding, even down to setting everything up. I love that!
A lot of people came to help set up and assisted in other parts of the day, as well. My favorite detail from the day was at their reception. Kari’s parents made the cutest seating chart for the reception! They took flower seed packets and put the guests’ names and table numbers on them. Then, they got to take home that packet of seeds to plant! I love that idea so much!! Every time they see those flowers sprouting up or starting to bloom, the guests will think of this wedding day and think of Kari & Daniel.
Aside from all the gorgeous details, wonderful people, and delicious food (no joke, those short ribs were amazing), they also had a live bluegrass band!! Anthony was in heaven! He is a huge bluegrass fan! Gallatin Canyon drove in from Charlottesville and they did NOT disappoint!! They did an awesome job all night and the guests were loving it!
I have never seen so many people in one room that know how to legit dance. Kari & Daniel did a choreographed ballroom dance for their first dance, but they did multiple more throughout the night! They weren’t the only ones, though. Many more couples were seriously impressive!
I’m excited for y’all to see this great couple and we were honored to capture their day! Kari & Daniel – you know we love y’all and wish you two nothing but the best!!
