Virginia has been super confused about the seasons lately, but we finally had amazing weather this past weekend!!  Still a little on the chilly side, but the sun was shining and we were not complaining!!  I got to meet up with Cory & Stephanie at Stephanie’s family farm to take their engagement photos and it was perfect!  As soon as I turned on that gravel driveway, I knew these were going to be my kind of people!

I hadn’t met these two yet, but Stephanie and I have been talking for months through email so I felt like I knew her!  We immediately just hugged each other because we were so excited!  Cory & Stephanie are both really laid back, fun people.  I could tell that right away!  They love to laugh and have a great time together.  They don’t take each other too seriously, and love being near one another.

Cory knew he wanted Stephanie to be his girl before she knew it.  Hearing them tell the story is so funny.  Basically, after having mutual friends and meeting randomly here & there, he just messaged her on Facebook and told her how it was.  Stephanie wasn’t ready for him just yet, but Cory never stopped knowing she was right for him.  Before long, Stephanie knew it, too and here we are!!  I love it when a guy just knows and Cory wasn’t going to let her slip away.

This engagement session was just so much fun!  We drove around the farm, finding different spots that looked perfect to take photos!  We maneuvered our way around cow poop while walking through the fields and even had some of them running by us.  I really wanted to hug one of the babies but I knew a mama cow would not be too happy with me.  Oh well!

Getting to finally meet these two and spend time with them & their friends was a blast!!  I can’t wait for their December wedding and I hope you enjoy looking at some of my favorite photos from their session!
