Hi there! I'm Caiti and I am a wedding & portrait photographer living in Prince George, Virginia. I am a music loving, doughtnut eating, coffee drinking, mama of 2. This is the place where you can come to see my latest work with my beautiful clients and learn more about me, my husband, and our sweet babies. Take a look around and enjoy!
We spent Saturday celebrating Zach & Elizabeth! It was a perfect day! The girls spent the morning hanging out, getting fancy, and listening to country music. The guys spent the morning relaxing, played a little golf, and some even took a swim in the pool (can we just agree that men have it easier on wedding days?). The calm and chill vibe of the morning is exactly how I see Zach and Elizabeth. When they are together, they seem so at ease and comfortable, yet laughing & joking with each other the whole time.
There were so many little, special details about the day that made it unique to them. First, the ceremony took place at the church they attend and where Zach’s grandfather was a pastor. His grandfather even performed the ceremony! Tabb Street Presbyterian Church was built in 1843 and is just so beautiful! It has the greek style with the huge columns, which make it so stunning!
Another special part of the day was that Liz’s mother did all of the floral arrangements. I love that she made her own daughter’s bridal bouquet! I know, as a mom, I would be emotional wreck over that.
After the ceremony, everyone made their way down to Glenward Gates for the reception. Let me take a second to just say this – We love Glenward Gates, not just because it is a gorgeous venue, has the best staff, and there are endless possibilities for great pictures (even though those are a plus), but we love the venue for it’s owner. Mrs. Chappell is by far one of the sweetest women and best venue owners around. Her heart behind the business and love for what she does makes her one of a kind. She told us that she does this because she truly loves LOVE! She told us she was crazy in love with her husband for all 51 years they were married, and is still in love with and misses him every day since he passed. Mrs. Chappell also donates a portion of the couples payment to the couple’s home church. Talk about having a servant heart! If you don’t have a venue picked out and you live local to Carson, check it out!
The entire night was so much fun! The wedding party, their families, and all their friends were a blast to hang out with and we truly are so grateful to have been there to capture every moment! Especially when Zach and Liz full on attacked one another with cake…just scroll down for that because things got REAL!
I hope you enjoy looking at this beautiful day as much as we loved being a part of it!
